What happens when an active family of four dreams of an English countryside home but lives on a Georgia farm? Project Farm Luxe is a complete main-floor renovation where thoughtful architecture, timeless materials, and layered interiors came together to create a home that feels warm, welcoming, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Project Farm Luxe - Dining Room
A Home Designed for Slow Mornings, Muddy Boots, & Family Gatherings
There are some projects that stay with you ~ This is one of them.
When our (repeat) clients first walked us through their farmhouse back in April 2025, they didn't start by talking about countertops or cabinets. Instead, they started talking about life.
Her collected plates, vintage finds, animals, and kids. Hosting 12 people for Thanksgiving and MORE.
I remember sitting there thinking... "This house already knows what it wants to become."
It just needed someone to help tell its story.
They briefed us to design and also RECONFIGURE THE WHOLE HOME, adding the garage into the layout as the new kitchen.
WOW! This was a FIRST for me. I got so so excited!
Designing From the Outside In
One thing I always tell our clients: Your home should reflect where it lives.
This beautiful farmhouse sits surrounded by open fields and countryside. Ignoring that would've felt like a missed opportunity.
So instead of bringing in trends, we invited the landscape inside ~
Soft greens, tree wallpaper murals, weathered woods, stone fireplaces, and more.
Little by little, the line between indoors and outdoors started disappearing.
Reimagining the Entire Main Floor
This wasn't simply a cosmetic update.
We completely reimagined approximately 2,000 square feet of the main floor to better support how the family lives every day.
One of the biggest transformations?
The garage became the new kitchen!
Instead of forcing the existing layout to work, we challenged it. Moving the kitchen allowed us to create better flow while giving every space a stronger purpose.
As part of the custom home design process, we introduced architectural elements that made the home feel open without sacrificing intimacy.
Custom transom arches frame views between rooms, creating moments of connection while still giving each space its own identity.
It's one of our favorite examples of how architecture can shape the feeling of a home.
Every Decision Started With One Question
"How do you want to feel here?"
Because once you answer that question... Everything else becomes easier.
Their answer?
Warm, Relaxed, Connected, A little romantic, Somewhere friends never wanted to leave.
That became our north star.
The Vision: English Countryside Meets Modern Family Living
Rather than designing around a particular style, we designed around a feeling.
We called the concept: English Countryside Farm Luxe
Imagine the warmth of an English cottage. The charm of a countryside farmhouse. The quiet sophistication of a boutique estate. Adding her vintage plates on the wall, or lot’s of cozy pattern play in pillows.
Now imagine all of that designed for a busy family living in Georgia today.
Natural stone.
Warm walnut.
Weathered oak.
Soft brass.
Layered textures.
Collected antiques.
Romantic wallpapers.

And Then We Hid Storage Everywhere...
Because here's the reality. Beautiful homes still have backpacks, Dog leashes, Board games, Charging cords, and Kids' art supplies. And in 2.000 sq ft, you need to be creative with storage.
One thing I love about this project is how much function quietly disappears into the design. You'll notice it if you look closely.
Drawers under the banquette.
A library tucked beneath the stairs.
Storage hidden inside built-ins.
Even the bed works harder, yep we got a STORAGE BED.
